Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) - Temp
Location: Hampton, Virginia
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations. Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to a Cardiologist. Maintain equipment and vehicle, communicate regularly with dispatch and management, and handle exam-related paperwork daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform portable X-Ray exams ordered by physicians, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images.
- Perform EKGs as required.
- Transport and maintain portable X-Ray equipment and vehicle.
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily.
- Communicate professionally with peers, supervisors, clients, and management.
Physical Demands
- Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs multiple times daily.
- Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys to assist with equipment handling.
- Physical stamina to perform duties in various facility settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- Valid Driver’s License.
