Job Opportunity: RN - ICU (Travel)
Location: Los Alamos, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: ICU Registered Nurse
- Shift: See shift details (alternating weekends)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Call Requirements: As needed; must be within 30 minutes of the hospital when on call
- Float Requirements: May be required to float to Medsurg, ER, etc.
- Number of Openings: 1
Unit Information
- Unit: ICU 1 (6 beds)
- Patient Ratios: 2:1
- Patient Population: All ages
- EHR System: Medhost Clinicals
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS (must have at submission; certifications are not available onsite)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Skills:
- Ventilator management
- Titrating continuous medications
Additional Requirements
- Must be fingerprinted and undergo background check per New Mexico state requirements (travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting on results but must be supervised)
- Must be located 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify as travel
- Professional demeanor required
- Dress code: Scrubs (any color); casual wear not acceptable
