Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Rotating)
Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing compassionate, quality care that is customer and family focused. The RN will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care according to hospital policies and professional nursing standards. The RN is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered and works to define, implement, and improve practice standards and the environment of care while promoting exceptional customer care. Duties may vary based on the assigned care center and required clinical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of Critical Care and ICU experience (highest required)
- Prior Travel Experience: 1 year of travel experience required
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Skills:
- Telemetry trained
- Able to insert IVs
- Experience with adult patient population
- Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience
Additional Requirements
- Work history documentation relevant to specialty
- Skills checklist current within 1 year
- Two supervisory references with employment dates
- MN DHS Net Study & Fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
- Compliance with strict deadlines for credentialing and onboarding
