Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Rotating)
Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate, quality care focused on patients and their families. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care according to hospital policies and professional nursing standards. The RN is accountable for the quality of nursing services and works to define, implement, and improve practice standards and the care environment while promoting exceptional patient care. Duties may vary based on the assigned care center and required clinical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Specialty Experience: Minimum 2+ years of Critical Care and ICU experience
- Prior Travel Experience: 1 year of travel experience required
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Skills:
- Telemetry trained
- Able to insert IVs
- Experience with adult patient population
- Epic EMR experience
- Additional Requirements:
- Work history documentation
- Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to specialty
- 2 supervisory references with dates employed
- MN DHS Net Study & Fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
Additional Information
- Dress code: Navy Blue Scrubs
- EMR system: Epic
- Nonbillable hours: 4 hours
- Local traveler policy applies for candidates living within 35 miles of the facility
- Strict compliance deadline for credential submission: 4 pm on the Wednesday before start date (no exceptions)
