Job Opportunity: LDRP RN (Labor and Delivery RN)
Location: Anderson, Indiana

Required Certifications & Skills
- BLS (AHA certified)
- ACLS (AHA certified)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics
- NRP Advanced – AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics
- Fetal Monitoring (If not covered on competency exam, must have AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent within past 2 years)
Required Experience

Required Licenses & Verifications
- Current nursing license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start

- Varicella: Documented proof of two vaccines, serological immunity, or verified history (no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
- Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- TB Testing: 2-step PPD or IGRA within required timeframes; if positive, negative chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire required
- Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
Drug Screening & Background Checks
- 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
- Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others within 30 days prior to start
- EPLS check within 90 days prior to start
Competency & Testing Requirements
- Ascension Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist completed within one year of start, updated annually
- Ascension Pharmacology Exam: Minimum 80% score, updated every 3 years
- Ascension Specialty Exam: Minimum 80% score or national benchmark, updated every 3 years
- Ascension Core Competencies: HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics; minimum 80% score, updated yearly
- Ascension Color Vision Test: Completed prior to start, updated every 3 years
Onboarding Requirements
- Signed Assignment Agreement prior to onboarding
- Ascension Resume/Profile and at least two professional references required for submission
- Various verifications and attestations required prior to or at onboarding
- Badge photo: Forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations
Summary
This is a 13-week long-term assignment for an experienced Labor and Delivery RN in Anderson, Indiana.
