Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Administration of chemotherapy, including:
- Body fluid handling post-chemotherapy
- Continuous infusion and IV push administration of chemotherapy
- Management and disposal of cytotoxic spills
- Monitoring chemotherapy and recognizing/communicating abnormal lab values
- Oral administration of chemotherapy
IV therapy skills including accessing ports
Administration of coagulation factors

THE best recruiter I have worked with in my 4 years as a traveler. Whether it's rate negotiations, shift preferences, or a general concern about the facility Natalie has never left me feeling unsupported. Additionally, dealing with Host Healthcare has been a seamless experience from compliance and onboarding.

Cons

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
