- Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Description
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg/Telemetry, including telemetry unit monitoring and stepdown experience.
- Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
- Experience using Rapid Response Teams.
- Skilled in feeding tube care and management.
- Competent in accessing ports, blood product administration, and central and peripheral line care/management.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
