Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work hours: 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Wednesday through Tuesday, following a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
• Call requirements based on department needs
• Weekend shifts during scheduled work weeks (every other weekend)
• Holiday shifts only if they fall within scheduled work weeks
• Use of EPIC system
• Must have experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience
• Prior travel experience required

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• ARRT certification
• Wisconsin Radiographer license (must be current and in hand at time of submission)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be AHA)

Additional Requirements

• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Completion of HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA training within the past year, updated every 3 years
• Documented proof of immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine during flu season or mask requirement if declined
  • Two Varicella vaccines or proof of immunity (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • TB screening with positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within one year, and annual TB questionnaire
  • Fit test for respiratory protection (3M 1860 Regular, Small, or 1870+), updated annually
• Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• Valid driver’s license or state ID (must not be expired and address must match requirements)
• Drug screening: 12 panel urine drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and other required screenings within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Employment and education verifications completed prior to assignment start
• Professional references (at least two) required prior to first assignment
• Completion of specialty competency exams and skills checklist prior to start and updated annually
• Forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background, no alterations or filters

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
