Job Description

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care services. This is a travel assignment requiring flexibility with weekend and holiday shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license credentialed by the Florida Board of Respiratory Care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA required)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA required)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and PALS preferred
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID (must be current and meet state-specific requirements)

Experience

• Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Documentation of immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)

  • Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccination (valid for 10 years, no declinations accepted)
  • Tuberculosis screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within one year, and annual TB questionnaire
• Fit testing for respiratory protection (annual requirement)
• Statement of good health or physical exam prior to assignment and updated annually
• 12-panel drug screen completed within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
• Criminal background check, employment verification, and education verification as per agency standards
