Job Description

• Perform all nursing responsibilities specific to the Emergency Department scope of service.
• Implement procedures and theories related to ED nursing practice.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care for use by the healthcare team.
• Complete initial patient assessments upon admission and develop appropriate plans of care based on patient and family needs.
• Implement and modify plans of care and nursing interventions based on continuous patient evaluation.
• Ensure patient and staff safety by identifying, reporting, and correcting safety hazards and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients, families, and visitors to promote a healthy and healing environment.
• Provide constructive feedback to peers to support professional development and knowledge sharing.
• Identify personal learning needs and take initiative for professional growth.
• Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years of relevant nursing experience in the specialty.
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required.

Contract Length

• Approximately 13 weeks (89 days converted to weeks).
