Job Opportunity: Radiology Technician

Location: Ypsilanti, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

• Work hours: 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday through Friday
• Experience required with Epic and Merge PACS software
• ARRT certification required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license for Michigan
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start date (specific substances required)
• Fit test (specific to Iowa mask requirements)
• Specialty exam completed within the last year
• Proof of vaccinations or valid exemptions for:

  • COVID-19 (booster required by Sept 2025)
  • Influenza (current season)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B (vaccination series required)
  • Varicella
  • Tdap (declinations accepted if no pediatric interaction)
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test for TB, with chest x-ray if positive (per regional requirements)
• Physical/Health statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)

Additional Requirements

• License/certification verification dated within 30 days of start
• Completion of various professional and compliance forms prior to start, including:

  • Code of Conduct
  • Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure
  • Criminal Background Check (federal, nationwide, county, and SSN verification within last 7 years)
  • Education Verification (highest level of academic education)
  • EPLS and GSA/OIG exclusion checks
  • NSO background check (state-specific requirements)
  • System Access Form (to be completed one week before start)
• Resume and skills checklist within the last year, plus two professional references
• Specialty-specific competency testing
• Color vision test
