Job Description

• Perform routine and specialized computerized tomography (CT) procedures.
• Produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.
• Work independently using sound judgment and clinical skills to ensure safe, precise, and timely procedures.
• Gain patient and healthcare provider cooperation through competent assessment, monitoring, and communication.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety.
• May perform specific procedures and assist in orienting other staff to the department.
• Possible weekend shifts as needed.

Required Certifications and Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (R) or CT certification
• California Radiation License
• California Fluoroscopy License

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in California
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) certification
• California Radiation License
• California Fluoroscopy License

Additional Requirements

• Must review and sign various facility-specific documents prior to start (e.g., standards of business conduct, confidentiality agreements, orientation checklists).
• Annual background check updates required.
• Compliance with facility health and safety policies including respiratory safety clearance.
• References: 2 professional references required for clinical roles.
• May require additional certifications or competencies as applicable.
