Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Job Summary
Join a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to treating patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. The facility provides specialized, individualized rehabilitation for conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. The goal is to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
Position Details
- Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation
- Shift: Day shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Workweek: Altered schedule, Tuesday through Saturday
- Weekly Hours: 32 hours guaranteed
- Weekend Hours: 8 hours
- Call Requirements: None
- Patient Population: Adult
- Patient Ratios: 1:5-7 depending on acuity
- Number of Openings: 1
Unit & Equipment
- 50-bed facility
- Equipment includes Smart Car, Vector, Lite Gait, Senaptec, TBI gym, dedicated transfer rooms, outdoor functional courtyard, and EKSO (available starting September)
- Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
- Degree in Physical Therapy
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
