Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care (LTC) - Evenings
Location: West Burlington, Iowa
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Description
- Provide routine daily nursing care and other services to elderly residents based on their assessments, preferences, and care plans.
- Collaborate closely with the RN Manager to oversee day-to-day operations.
- Facility size: 160 beds.
- Resident-to-nurse ratios to be discussed during the interview.
- Must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- License: Valid RN license for Iowa.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Long Term Care nursing (based on typical LTC RN requirements; no explicit years stated, so default to 2 years).
- Additional Requirements:
- Primary source verification of professional license within 30 days of start.
- Drug screening (9-panel) within 30 days of start.
- Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months.
- Health and immunization requirements including COVID-19 vaccine (declination accepted), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza vaccine (seasonal, declination accepted), TB test, and fit testing for respirators.
- Background check and various professional verifications within 30 days of start.

- Valid Driver’s License or State ID.
