Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Paris, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday
• Work alongside another CT tech due to higher weekend volumes
• Responsibilities include CT imaging with knowledge of IV competency, CTA work, and use of EMR and PACS systems
• Portable X-ray and X-ray per facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• ARRT CT or ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with CT Angiography (CTA) procedures

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID required during hours of service
• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, updated annually
• Employment verification and eligibility checks required
• Diploma/transcript verification for specialty
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years if prior positive)
• N95 Fit Test within 1 year, updated annually (no PAPR allowed)
• Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start
• COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (Nov 1 – Mar 31), no declinations or exemptions accepted
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completed employment application/resume
• Skills checklist as applicable to profession/specialty

Certifications (as applicable)

• ACLS (for RNs and RRTs, if applicable)
• Other certifications verified as required by specialty and discipline

Additional Notes

• Locals and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate
• EPIC test required for most candidates (with some facility-specific exceptions)
• Appearance standards must be reviewed and signed prior to start

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least one year of experience seeking a weekend travel contract with evening/night shifts.
