CT Tech - Radiology
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Job Details
- Specialty: CT Tech (Radiology)
- Shift: Evenings, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Assignment Length: 16 weeks
- Weekend Hours: Every weekend required
- Call Requirements: None
- Orientation: Night shift orientation occurs on day shift; traveler must be available for the entire orientation week
- Equipment: GE CT equipment
- EMR System: EPIC
Job Description
- Provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologists or performing physicians, including interventional and special procedures such as biopsy, ablation, myelography, and arthrography.
- Assist radiologists during special CT procedures and provide essential patient care throughout all procedures.
- Apply principles of radiation safety.
- Organize daily schedules and serve as a dedicated resource to the CT team during shifts.
- May be required to be on call if needed.
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist with 3 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- CT Registry certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Additional Information
- Flu vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted.
