Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Waco, Texas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Job Description

• Perform computerized tomographic (CT) procedures for diagnosing disease and injury following radiologist protocols.
• Prepare and position patients; accurately select anatomic and technical parameters.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice and applicable regulations.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• May be required to be on-call.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
• Use personal protective equipment and follow standard precautions as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Texas.
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.

Additional Information

• Onboarding includes completion of a medical imaging contract worker education attestation and skills checklist.
• Must be able to work independently and handle stressful situations.
• May require on-site completion of some health screenings and fit testing.
• Flu season mask policy applies if vaccine is declined.
