Job Opportunity: MRI Technician

Location: Westerville, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Weekend shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Valid MRI Technician license or certification as applicable for the specialty
• American Heart Association BLS certification (current, with front and back of card)
• Specialty exam completed within the last year
• Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (within the last year)
• Proof of required vaccinations or approved exemptions, including:

  • COVID-19 vaccine (including booster or approved exemption)
  • MMR
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series (titers not accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine (seasonal, with proof or exemption)
  • Varicella
  • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test
• Fit Test (respiratory protection)
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (NO THC)
• Background checks and verifications including:

  • Criminal background check (last 7 years)
  • Education verification (highest level of academic education)
  • EPLS, OIG/GSA exclusions, NSO checks (all within 30 days of start)
• Signed confidentiality, conflict of interest, code of conduct, integrity and audit services forms
• System access form completed one week before start
• Skills checklist and specialty-specific competency testing within the last year

Additional Information

• Must upload all required documentation into the agency’s credentialing system prior to start
• All verifications and screenings must be current and dated within specified timeframes (mostly within 30 days of start)
• Physical and health requirements must be documented and current
• No prior travel experience explicitly required

Summary

This is a travel MRI Technician position requiring weekend night shifts for a 13-week contract in Ohio. Candidates must meet comprehensive vaccination, health, licensing, and background screening requirements. Current BLS certification and recent specialty competency testing are mandatory.
