Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: West Bloomfield, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care in Labor & Delivery. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching. Communicates pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team. Participates in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Post Partum experience
Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
