MRI Technologist

Location: West Burlington, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable day shift hours (5x8s)
Call: Every 4th weekend (Saturday/Sunday 8:00 am - Noon), possible holiday call (8:00 am - Noon), no weekday call required

Job Description

• Operate MRI scanners/equipment to produce diagnostic images demonstrating anatomical or physiological structures.
• Produce quality images as directed by radiologists and providers for diagnosis or treatment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general and cross-sectional anatomy, MRI safety, technical factors, and basic computer skills.
• Work independently and cooperatively within the department and hospital-wide.
• Provide exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
• Competent in all routine MRI protocols and procedures, MRI safety, and patient care for all populations.
• Preferred experience with GE MRI equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• ARRT certification required.
• MRI Board Certification required.

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Must be able to work weekends on call rotation.
• Emphasis on patient care and teamwork skills.
• No weekday call required.
