Description
Job Opportunity: Critical Care RN
Location: Concord Township, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Details
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Floating requirement across all inpatient areas including ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg
- Nurse-to-patient ratio:
- Med/Surg and Stepdown: 1:4-6
- ICU: 1:2-3
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Health and Safety Requirements
- COVID-19 vaccine preferred but not required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
- MMR: Positive titers within last 15 years or appropriate booster schedule
- Varicella: Positive titers within last 15 years or appropriate booster schedule
- Tdap vaccination within last 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B: Proof of full series, partial series with declination, or positive titers within 15 years
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (October–March) or mask and declination forms completed
- 2-Step PPD or IGRA TB test within last 6 months (annual requirement)
- Physical exam within one year prior to start, confirming ability to work without restrictions
- Fit test for approved respirators completed within one year prior to start
Background and Compliance
- Criminal background check within 6 months of start, including social security trace and national sex offender registry
- OIG exclusion check within 6 months prior to start
- SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC screening within 6 months prior to start
- Drug screen within 60 days prior to start (10-panel, lab report required; instant screens not accepted)
- Education and employment verification within 5 years through third-party verification
- Skills checklist and competency exams relevant to critical care, completed within 1 year prior to start
- Core competencies including HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission topics completed within 1 year prior to start
- Driver’s license or state ID (non-expired photo ID) required
Additional Notes
- Candidate must provide a professional badge photo (headshot, shoulders up, plain background)
- Submission packet includes resume, 2 professional references (within last 2 years), job application, and employment history form
- Floating across multiple inpatient units requires flexibility and adaptability
This position is ideal for experienced critical care RNs seeking a night shift role with a variety of inpatient responsibilities in a long-term assignment setting.
