Description

Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry

Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (candidate to specify preference)
Patient Population: Primarily adults
Patient Ratio: 1:6 (with support staff including CNA and LPNs)
Electronic Health Record (EHR): MediTech
Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit serving adult patients. The unit offers a range of specialty services and requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized patient care.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical / Telemetry nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications

Prior travel nursing experience is preferred but not required

Additional Information

May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
