Description
Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Modesto, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Support nuclear stress tests, performing approximately 12 tests per day.
- May be required to float to a nearby location for coverage as needed.
- Work schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts starting between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM. Weekend work as required by unit needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in California
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, with experience within the last year
- ARRT (N) certification
- CNMT certification
- RHN certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Minimum years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard for Nuclear Medicine Technologist (typically 1-2 years).

- Physical exam within 1 year of start.
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually (with accommodations for religious exemptions).
- Immunizations and health screenings required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days of start, renewed annually
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella immunity or vaccination as required
- Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov-April) or signed declination
- Respiratory safety clearance required prior to start, renewed annually.
Documentation & Compliance
- Must provide full 7 years of work history with no gaps.
- Unit-specific skills checklist required, renewed annually.
- Various facility-specific documents and attestations must be reviewed and signed prior to start, including standards of business conduct, code of conduct, vendor training, and others.
- References: 2 professional references required for clinical positions within 3 years.
