Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Registered Nurse)

Location: Camden, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Must be willing to float within 5 hospitals within skillset.
Block scheduling is NOT allowed.
Required to pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing the contract (only 2 attempts allowed, must be taken on a PC, not iOS devices). Failure to pass results in contract cancellation.
Circulate and scrub for C-section procedures.
Experience with EPIC electronic health records system required.
Experience working with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio; may be assigned to facilities with higher volumes.
First-time travelers accepted but not preferred.
Every Other Week (EOW) scheduling.
Must work 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday during the contract.
Scrubs provided by the hospital.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience within the last year.
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience circulating and scrubbing for C-section procedures.
Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
