Job Opportunity: Surgical Technician

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule & Environment

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Call required on a 6-week rotation: approximately 1 call per week from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM next day
• Weekend call once every 5 weeks (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
• Must respond to hospital within 30 minutes when on call
• Level 3 trauma center environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician
• Surgical Technician experience within the last year
• Certification as a CST (Certified Surgical Technologist), NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting), TS-C (Tech in Surgery-Certified), or NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing)

Additional Notes

• Attestations are generally not accepted except for fingerprinting pending results
• Some immunization boosters require follow-up titers after administration
• Masking and declination forms required if influenza vaccine is declined
• This position requires the ability to respond quickly during call hours and work in a trauma center setting
