Registered Nurse (NICU)
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Employment Type: Traveler - Backfill
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide patient care in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Utilize EPIC computer charting and Pyxis medication administration systems
- May float to age-appropriate Pediatrics or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) as needed
- Unit has 31 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2
- Dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs
Schedule
- Days or nights, 36 hours per week
- Orientation is mandatory for all 7 days: Week 1 (Mon-Fri), Week 2 (Mon-Tues), 8-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
- Current Indiana RN license
- BLS (AHA only) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
No prior travel experience requirement specified.
