CT Technologist

Location: Auburn, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a CT Technologist to provide imaging services primarily in CT and X-ray, with additional coverage in surgery areas. The role involves performing plain films, CT scans, and C-arm procedures, with an average of 16 studies per day across all modalities.

Schedule

• Evening shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Weekend call rotation: Friday evening through Monday morning
• Rotating holiday coverage
• Call or standby required with a 20-minute response time
• Shifts available: 8, 10, and 12 hours with rotating calls every 3-5 weeks

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans, X-rays, and assist in surgery imaging
• Start IVs as needed
• Float and cover CT, X-ray, and surgery areas (excluding mammography and ultrasound)
• Use department-specific equipment including Siemens CT, Shimadzu X-ray, and GE C-arm

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification (CT preferred)
• BLS certification
• Experience in X-ray required; CT experience preferred
• Ability to start IVs
• Must be able to respond to call within 20 minutes

Additional Information

• Department has 1 CT room, 1 X-ray room, 1 ultrasound room, 1 mammography room, and 1 DEXA room
• No radiologist on-site
• No mandatory scrub color; scrubs not provided
• No specific orientation for CT vs. X-ray; staff assist across multiple imaging areas except mammography and ultrasound
