Job Summary
Seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Operating Room procedures with proficiency in C-arm and O-arm coverage. The role involves performing X-ray procedures in surgical settings across outpatient, inpatient, and Level I Trauma environments. This position offers professional growth in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Work Schedule
- 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (4x10)
- 1st shift
- On-call responsibilities required
Responsibilities
- Provide C-arm and O-arm imaging coverage in the Operating Room
- Perform X-ray procedures for surgical interventions
- Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety protocols
- Participate in ongoing education and training
Required Qualifications
- Valid X-Ray Technician license in Ohio
- ARRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician, including experience within the last year
- Proficiency in operating C-arm and O-arm systems
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, Operating Room, Level I Trauma, and teaching hospital settings
- Experience with surgery and C-Arm procedures

Procedure Experience
- Surgery/C-Arm X-ray procedures
Required Background and Compliance Checks
- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, including FBI and state fingerprinting
- Monthly monitoring through federal exclusion lists (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
- Education accreditation verification
- Drug screening (10-panel) within 3 months of start
- Physical exam confirming good health and freedom from contagious disease within 1 year of start
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (adult dose)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- TB questionnaire
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titers
- Hepatitis B titer or vaccine series (declination acceptable)
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- Annual acknowledgment of dress code, hand hygiene, ethics, and compliance policies
- Required fingerprinting per state regulations with specific codes and timelines
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA certified (Instructor/Provider or RQI acceptable)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on unit
- Other certifications as applicable per unit or specialty
Additional Requirements
- Completion of unit-specific competency exams
- Annual safety manual acknowledgment
- References: 2 professional references required, including at least one from a manager or formal leadership role
