Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Hickory, North Carolina

Weekend Hours: Every other weekend

Float Requirements: May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units

Patient Ratios: 4:1
Patient Population: Generalized cardiac patients, ages ranging from young adult to elderly adult
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Chest Pain, A-fib, CHF, Pre & Post care for cardiac caths (groin & radial), VATS
Equipment Used: Life Paks, Zoll, Masimo
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Cerner (preferred experience)
Unit Culture: Family-oriented

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

Scrub Color: Any color allowed
No specific dress code restrictions
Prior travel experience is not specified as required
