Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry

- Shift: Primarily Day/Evening (P/A)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: None
- Float Requirements: May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units
Unit Information
- Unit: Telemetry
- Number of Beds: 24
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- Patient Population: Generalized cardiac patients, ages ranging from young adult to elderly adult
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Chest Pain, A-fib, CHF, Pre & Post care for cardiac caths (groin & radial), VATS
- Equipment Used: Life Paks, Zoll, Masimo
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Cerner (preferred experience)
- Unit Culture: Family-oriented
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

- Scrub Color: Any color allowed
- No specific dress code restrictions
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required
