Description
ICU RN – Nights
Location: Woonsocket, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week (3 shifts of 12 hours)
Schedule: Every Other Weekend required
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Job Description
- Provide critical care nursing in an ICU setting during night shifts.
- Start as soon as possible.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Rhode Island
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of experience in RN Critical Care
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
- ICU experience within the last year
- Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Required Credentials & Compliance
- COVID-19 vaccination series plus booster or completed declination.
- Proof of immunity or vaccination for MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B.
- Annual Influenza vaccine or declination (seasonal requirement).
- Annual TB test.
- Annual respirator fit test.
- Annual physical/health statement confirming clearance to work.
- National criminal background check within one year of start date.
- Drug screening (minimum 10-panel including THC) within 60 days of start.
- Driver’s license, state ID, or passport.
- Completion of specialty and core competency exams with a minimum score of 80%.
- Completion of workplace violence prevention training.
- Submission of updated resume and two professional references (one from a manager or supervisor).
- Completion of orientation packet and agency attestation.
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Must be able to work night shifts and every other weekend.
- Compliance with all facility-specific onboarding requirements is mandatory.
