Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR
Location: Weston, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position requires Registered Nurse with Cardiac Operating Room (CVOR) experience.
- Must have scrub experience; candidate will be working in a scrub capacity.
- Cardiac call required (approximately 6 minimum calls per month; may increase if short staffed).
- On-call shifts include 1 per weekday and 2 weekend shifts (weekends are 24-hour shifts).
- Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Block scheduling is not accommodated.
- Locals accepted at the same rate.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts.
- Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required.
- Facility is smoke-free.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- CVOR (2 years of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Compliance and Onboarding Requirements
- Proof of I9 or attestation required.
- Government-issued photo ID required during hours of service.
- Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG required and must be current.
- Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start.
- Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start.
- Physical exam within 6 months of start.
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
- Varicella (2 vaccines, titer, or history)
- Seasonal flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
- Two professional references within 2 years required.
- Pass/fail testing (EKG/Pharmacology) during orientation.
- Completion of online onboarding modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome).
- Must be nicotine-free; cotinine test required.
- Must comply with facility’s privacy policies and complete all required documentation.

- Cardiac call shifts are mandatory and may vary monthly.
