Job Opportunity: RN Telemetry
Location: Woonsocket, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Telemetry Registered Nurse with 2+ years of recent experience required.
- Must have at least 2 years of cardiac experience, including care for cardiac cath patients and cardiac patients on Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Experience with cardiac patients is essential.
- Night shift weekend requirement: every other Friday and Saturday.
- EPIC electronic health record experience required.
- ACLS certification must be current and previously used in prior positions (simply obtaining ACLS to be compliant is not acceptable).
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Rhode Island
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
- Cardiology experience
- Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Onboarding Requirements (to be completed prior to start)
- License/certification verification (primary source verification within 30 days of start)
- COVID-19 vaccine
- MMR (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Fit test (annual respirator fit test)
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity
- TB test
- Varicella vaccination or immunity
- Tdap vaccination (declinations not accepted)
- Physical/health statement (annual)
- Driver’s license, state ID, or passport
- Drug screening (location dependent)
- Criminal background check (past 7 years)
- Core competencies exam (minimum 80%)
- Specialty exam (minimum 80%)
- Basic pharmacology exam (minimum 80%)
- Basic rhythm interpretation screening (minimum 80%)
- Education verification (diploma or transcripts)
- Agency attestation and employment eligibility verification

- Weekend rotation includes every other Friday and Saturday night shifts.
