Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice

Location: Mandan, North Dakota
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Summary

Provide hospice nursing care primarily to adult patients (18+) with a focus on geriatric populations. Care settings include home visits, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, and hospital environments.

Work Schedule

Guarantee of 36 hours per week for 12-hour shifts, or 40 hours per week for 8-10 hour shifts
Workweek runs Sunday through Saturday
Typical hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Weekend coverage every 3rd weekend
1-2 call shifts during the week
2-3 office meetings required per month

Mostly geriatric patients

Required Qualifications

Current BLS Certification
Valid RN license appropriate for hospice nursing

Additional Information

Local placements within an 80-mile radius
No on-call or call-back available outside scheduled shifts

Notes

A 14-day notice is required if the clinician decides to back out or quit to avoid a fee.
