Job Summary

Seeking a Sonographer specializing in Echo/Vascular imaging to perform adult echocardiography and peripheral vascular studies. The position involves working with inpatients and outpatients, using advanced imaging equipment in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Adult Echo, Stress Echo, Transesophageal Echo (TEE), and peripheral vascular imaging studies.
• Use Philips Epiq and IE33 ultrasound machines.
• Work exclusively within the Echo/Vascular department (no floating to other areas).
• Utilize Cerner EMR, Syngo Dynamics PACS, and Sectra PACS systems.
• Participate in weeknight on-call rotation with a 30-minute callback requirement.
• Holiday on-call rotation and rare weekend coverage only if weekend staff are on PTO.
• Follow department dress code: clean, professional scrubs of any color.
• Complete department-specific orientation.

Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts, varying between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
• Minimal weekend requirements.
• Weeknight on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) certification via ARDMS.
• Alternatively, ARDMS or CCI certification (RVT and RDCS) accepted.
• Experience in Echo/Vascular sonography highly preferred.

Additional Information

• IV starts are not required but may be performed if preferred for contrast imaging.
• Cardiologist available in-house.
• Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
• Prior work history with this employer requires a minimum 6-month gap before reapplying.
