Job Details

• Shift: 7a-7p
• Schedule: Every weekend, no block scheduling allowed
• Floating: Required to float within 5 hospitals based on needs
• On-call: None
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Care Model: Couplet care practiced; Stork RN on each shift
• Scrubs: Any color allowed

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Minimum 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, with NICU experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Required Documents & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Government issued photo ID
• Background checks including 7-year criminal check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• State license primary source verification and NURSYS verification
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption (declinations not accepted)
• Drug screening (10 panel, THC panel rules apply) within 6 months
• Various health titers/vaccinations (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella) or exemptions as applicable
• Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation
• Eye exam with visual acuity 20/40 or better
• Latex questionnaire
• References: 2 professional references within last 2 years
• Employment application and skills checklist updated annually
• Work history verification (minimum 1 year prior to start date, allowing 30-day gaps or less)

Additional Notes

• Return to Office (RTO) documentation required at time of submission; no late submissions accepted
• Dysrhythmia competency testing required for certain units (not specified for NICU)
• Medication and competency exams required as applicable
• Candidates must pass required testing modules within specified timeframes or risk contract cancellation
