Description
Job Opportunity: CVOR Registered Nurse
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Shift pattern: 2 eight-hour shifts and 2 twelve-hour shifts within 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM, including call coverage.
- Shift hours will be flexible and scheduled based on need.
- Call requirements vary by shift:
- Day shift: 30-40 hours of call per 4-week period
- Evening shift: Weekend call required (~24 hours per 4-week period)
- Night shift: Minimal weekend call
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience within the last year.
- Experience in cardiology, vascular surgery, and transplant nursing.
- Experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience in general operating room procedures, including cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
