Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Job Description
Seeking a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to fill a travel contract position. This role involves providing respiratory care to neonatal patients in an acute care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
Compliance and Background Requirements
- Valid government-issued photo ID must be carried during assignment.
- Criminal background check required prior to start; must be updated if break in service exceeds 2 months.
- FBI and BCI fingerprinting required within 12 months of start; must be completed promptly as processing can take up to 30 days.
- Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required.
- Transcript/Diploma verification required.
- I9/E-Verify attestation required.
Health and Safety Requirements
- Pre-employment physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming ability to safely perform job functions.
- Fit mask test within 12 months of start; must be updated annually. Testing must be done prior to start using approved N95 masks.
- Negative 2-step TB test or equivalent within 6 months of start; annual renewal required. For past positive TB tests, chest x-ray clearance and annual symptom assessment required.
- Immunizations or titers required for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (or signed declination)
- Varicella
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start; annual renewal required.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 31 - Mar 31); no declinations accepted.
Training and Onboarding
- Completion of facility-specific online training modules (approximately 4-5 hours) prior to start; must be completed on a computer using Chrome.
- Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start; annual update required.
- HIPAA acknowledgment form required; updated annually.
- Photo for badge must be submitted prior to start.
- Badge pickup required at facility before starting assignment.
References and Documentation
- Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references required.
- Employment application must include at least 3 years of prior work history, including a minimum of 2 years clinical practice in an acute care setting relevant to the assignment.
- Unit-specific skills checklist required; updated annually.
