Job Opportunity: RN Cath Lab

Location: Athens, Georgia
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) for a long-term assignment.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Georgia
  • Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Demonstrated RN Cath Lab experience

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

  • Fit Test
  • 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (including booster or approved exemption)
  • Influenza Vaccine (or approved exemption)
  • MMR Vaccination or immunity proof
  • Hepatitis B Vaccination series (at least first dose prior to start)
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA TB test (with chest x-ray if positive)
  • Varicella Vaccination or immunity proof
  • Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)

Professional and Background Checks

  • Criminal Background Check (Federal, Nationwide, County - last 7 years)
  • Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma)
  • OFAC, EPLS, GSA/OIG, NSO screenings (dated within 30 days of start)
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
  • Code of Conduct Form
  • Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form
  • System Access Form (completed and uploaded one week before start)
  • Joint Commission CORE Exam (within last year)

Additional Notes

  • Skills Checklist will be provided by the agency for clinical contractors.
  • All certifications and verifications must be uploaded as scanned copies with expiration dates where applicable.
  • License verification must include state verification if available (e.g., NURSYS for RNs).
  • Drug screen panel excludes THC.
  • Declinations for vaccines may not be accepted in certain states (e.g., California, Illinois).

This position requires strict adherence to credentialing and compliance standards prior to and during the assignment.
