Job Opportunity: EP Tech

Location: Athens, Georgia
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (No call, no weekends, no holidays)

Job Specialty

Cath Lab Technician

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year.
At least 1 year of experience as an Electrophysiology (EP) Technician.
Must hold a valid license or certification appropriate for Cath Lab Technicians in Georgia.
American Heart Association BLS certification required.
Must meet all health and professional credential requirements prior to onboarding, including but not limited to:
- Fit Test
- 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start)
- COVID-19 Vaccine (including booster or approved exemption)
- Influenza Vaccine (or approved exemption)
- MMR vaccination or immunity proof
- Hepatitis B vaccination series (proof of initiation required before start)
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA TB test (with chest x-ray if positive)
- Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
- Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (within last year)

Additional Onboarding Requirements

Verification of license/certification within 30 days of start date.
Completion of various professional forms and background checks, including:
- Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years)
- Education verification
- Conflict of interest disclosure
- Code of conduct agreement
- Confidentiality and security agreement
- Integrity and audit services form
- OFAC, EPLS, GSA/OIG, NSO screenings (all dated within 30 days of start)
- System access form (to be completed one week before start)
- Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
- CORE exam within the last year

Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
The role is strictly day shift with no on-call, weekend, or holiday work.

This position is suitable for experienced Cath Lab Technicians seeking a stable, long-term assignment with a consistent weekday schedule.
