Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Job Summary

Join a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital specializing in intensive, patient-focused rehabilitation for individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The role involves delivering customized, intense rehabilitation to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life.

Position Details

• Specialty: Physical Therapy (PT)
• Shift: Days
• Weekly Hours: 36-40 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: PTA works Fri–Tues schedule ideally; OT and SLP rotate weekends every 2-3 weekends
• Call Requirements: None
• Patient Load: 4-5 patients per day
• Treatment Time: Approximately 6 hours per day
• EHR System: Cerner
• Patient Population: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Orthopedic Trauma

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience in Acute Rehabilitation or Acute Care settings
• Experience within the last year as a Physical Therapist in Acute Care and/or Rehabilitation settings
