Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

13-week contract assignment
Call required 2 times per schedule
Must be able to circulate and scrub during surgeries
Patient mix includes all OR specialties except open heart surgery
Experience required in robotic and ENT surgeries
Experience required in ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgeries
Facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center
Charting system used: EPIC
Scrubs provided
First-time travelers accepted

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of experience in ENT surgery, with at least 1 year of recent ENT surgery experience
Experience in acute care nursing
Experience in orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neurological surgeries
Experience with robotic surgery
Ability to circulate and scrub during surgeries
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
