Position Overview

Seeking a Nuclear Med Tech to join the Nuclear Medicine department. This role involves providing nuclear medicine services to a diverse patient population of all ages in a facility with 300 beds. The position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: None scheduled
• Call Requirements: As needed
• Float Requirements: As needed
• Dress Code: Black scrubs; t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies are not acceptable attire

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in West Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification or ARRT Nuclear Medicine (N) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with cardiac stress testing

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Ability to perform cardiac stress testing
• Venipuncture skills
• Experience with general nuclear medicine studies

Equipment & Systems

• Equipment: GE NM360
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
