Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

  • Saturday and Sunday: 7 PM – 7 AM
  • Potential additional shift on Friday: 1 PM – 11 PM (total 34 hours)
• Work Setting Experience Required: Adult Acute Care and Adult Outpatient
• Floating: Not required
• On Call: Not required
• Scrub Color: Navy, grey, or black

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience
• Recent CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience in Adult Acute Care and Adult Outpatient settings
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Background checks covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, including:

  • SSN Trace
  • Counties, States, Nationwide Criminal Search
  • Sex Offender Search
  • Education Verification
• Fingerprinting per Pennsylvania Department of Human Services within 90 days of start (full results required)
• State-specific clearances including Child Abuse Search, PATCH Search, Medicheck Search, and others as required by Pennsylvania regulations
• Employment application with 7 years of complete work history and explanations for gaps over 90 days
• Minimum of 2 professional references from employment within 12 months of start

Certifications and Competencies

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – as applicable
• Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) – required for clinical staff
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam – required for all RN candidates (if applicable)
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam – required within 12 months of start for clinical staff
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement – annual update required
• State License Verification and NURSYS Verification prior to start and upon expiration

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 2 months of start
• Fit test for respirator use (if applicable)
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (with specific timing requirements)
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella – positive titer or vaccination series
  • Hepatitis B – positive antibody titer or completed vaccine series (declinations not accepted)
  • Varicella – positive titer or vaccination series
• Drug testing: Negative 10-panel or 9-panel (without THC/Marijuana) within 60 days of start
• COVID-19 vaccination or signed declination with facility-specific form
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved declination (with masking policy adherence)

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• No floating or on-call duties expected.
