Job Opportunity: RN - Cath Lab

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks according to state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Continuously evaluate patient health status through data collection and assessment.
• Provide health teaching and counseling.
• Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.
• Execute delegated medical functions.
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
• Document care in compliance with regulatory and hospital guidelines.
• Utilize resources effectively.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency.
• May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Colorado.
• Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
• Meet knowledge, skills, education, training, licensure, and experience requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
