Job Opportunity: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist

Location: Golden, Colorado

Contract Length: Approximately 14 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures and act as scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions.
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor/document procedure images and events from the control room.
• Provide patient care under RN supervision.
• Educate patients and families about the procedure, including pre- and post-procedure expectations and physical conditions.
• Maintain order, cleanliness, and appropriate stock levels for complex interventions and diagnostic procedures.
• Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards, including productivity information.
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and potential safety hazards.
• Uphold organizational mission, vision, values, and service behavior standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• License and certification appropriate for Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist role (as per state and specialty requirements).
• Prior experience in cardiology or cath lab preferred.

Experience

• Preferred: 2 years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab.
