Physical Therapist (Outpatient)

Location: Cheraw, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel

Position Details

Patient Population

• Adults
• Geriatrics
• Pediatrics (only orthopedic/acute injuries)
• Mix of orthopedic and neurological conditions

Common Diagnoses/Treatments

• Lower extremity orthopedic conditions
• Sports injuries
• Spine issues
• Stroke (CVA)
• Balance impairments / history of falls
• Parkinson’s disease

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in South Carolina
• Appropriate degree in Physical Therapy
• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year

Preferred Skills

• Dry Needling (a bonus but not required)

Work Environment

• Standard outpatient clinic equipment
• Electronic Health Record system: Epic
• Patient ratios mostly 1:1, some double-booked appointments
• Dress code: Scrubs preferred (solid colors such as teal, Caribbean, wine, white, black, grey, or pink) or business casual (no jeans, leggings as pants, shorts, capris, ripped clothing, sandals, or open-toed shoes)
