Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location: Rogers, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
Practice within the scope of nursing preparation and established nursing guidelines.
Work variable shifts (4 days a week, 10 hours per day) with 36 guaranteed hours weekly.
No weekend or on-call requirements.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) RN experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
Basic EKG or Arrhythmia-identification certification recommended
