Job Opportunity: ICU Registered Nurse

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7pm - 7am)
• Unit: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Floating: Will float to all 3 ICUs and Emergency Departments for holds

Required Experience

• Minimum of 18 months recent Critical Care/ICU experience
• Must have 18 months of permanent ICU experience prior to travel

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Must have a permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience of at least 1.5 years, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

• Must complete onboarding training modules prior to start (computer and Google Chrome required)
• Baseline competency exams (medication administration and ECG interpretation) required at orientation
• Employment application must include at least 3 years prior work history with 2 years in acute care and similar area
• Annual skills checklist required
• References: 2 references from employment within one year of start, from management or supervisory roles

Prior Travel Experience

• No explicit prior travel experience required

This position is ideal for experienced ICU Registered Nurses with strong critical care backgrounds and current Ohio licensure, seeking a travel contract opportunity on night shifts in a high-acuity ICU setting.
