Description
CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Perform CT scans in the Emergency Department and main hospital.
- Assist with morning chest x-rays in the ICU during night shifts.
- Work with GE CT scanners, Sectra PACS, and EPIC systems.
- Department has 3 CT machines; hospital size is approximately 500 beds.
- Shift: Days, Friday through Sunday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week).
- Dress code: Dark gray scrubs.
- Training period: 1-2 weeks.
- Work environment is very busy, operating 24/7 with a supportive team of technologists.
- Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.
- Local placements within an 80-mile radius.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required; CT certification preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience required on GE CT scanners.
Additional Notes
- Must indicate if previously employed by this health system; if so, there must be a minimum 6-month gap since last employment.
- No floating to other units or departments.
