Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech
Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Schedule: No call, no holidays, no weekends
Job Description
- Position requires a Nuclear Medicine Technologist license.
- Cardiovascular nuclear medicine experience is helpful but not required.
- Operating Room (OR) experience is highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist license.
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
Additional Information
- Onsite fit testing and AVADE training may be required if extending beyond initial contract.
- Facility requires acknowledgment and signing of confidentiality agreements, code of conduct, and other facility-specific documents.
- Basic Dysrhythmia exam and medication/pharmacology competency exams required as applicable.
- No prior travel experience explicitly required for this position.
Experience
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Nuclear Medicine)
- OR experience highly preferred.
- Cardiovascular nuclear medicine experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Years of experience not explicitly stated; candidates with relevant nuclear medicine experience preferred.
